BATTLE: UNSEEN FORCES – VICTORY

BATTLE: UNSEEN FORCES

Everything in this world is transitory (temporary). Erosion sets in. (The only thing we can take with us from this world is what we do for Christ. (See below) Beautiful bikes and cars rust, appliances grow old, electronic devises phase out. The initial excitement that one experiences when they purchase or receive something new even dissipates after a short time.

Jesus, the Creator of all things, said, “The love of money is the root of all evil” (1 Timothy 6:10 King James Version).

The phrase, “They don’t make things like they use to” is so true. I remember when I was a child that my mother bought a Sears and Roebuck washing machine that lasted 20 years. Contrast that to some of today’s versions and there really is no comparison. Machines today are put together with the cheapest of plastics, so they just do not last nearly as long. It is quantity over quality.  The first concern of so many who are business owners is making as much money as they can.

The Bible says to, “Pray without ceasing.” I view this as a very stern warning, even a commandment for those who would be prepared to do the Lord’s biddings and to obtain the many victories that Christ has already won for us by his death on the Cross and by his resurrection from the dead on the third day. Rather than adding or squeezing prayer into  our busy lives we should more so have the attitude of adding or squeezing other things into or around our prayer lives. For example,  a person might say I have such a busy work schedule. I have to rise so early and stay up so late to complete my assigned tasks to make sure I am ready for the next day.  That  person might pray just five minutes before falling asleep for the night. While prayer and our relationship with God should be of primary importance for this person it is secondary at best. The truth is that we who know the Lord Jesus personally should be so devoted to prayer (communication with God and his desires including the salvation of others) that everything else should revolve around this (our prayer lives) rather than revolving around anything else.  Jesus (God) is first, everything else is secondary. Am I saying that a husband or wife should put God before his or her family? Yes! Absolutely yes! You see, God created marriage and family. He is the Chief Architect! When you really learn to put him first, praying and studying his Word (the Bible) he can then instruct us! He will bless your marriage and family, making you a better spouse, parent, and child than we could ever be on our own.

LET ME THROW THIS IN: A PERSON IS NEVER MORE AWARE THAT WHEN HE OR SHE IS COUNCIOUS OF GOD (HIS PRESENCE). Even for a person who works as a security officer (or first responders) the greatest defense (being ready to protect the safety of others) is being on offense. Having a Word up, prayed up, stayed up, going up, attitude. That is being a prayer warrior and studying God’s Word (the Bible) every day. Our entire lives are centered on God and what he desires. Providing safety to family members, friends, and neighbors, all people. We want the best for everyone! If there is anyone who works harder than us for our employers, we would be missing the mark.

The Bible says that, “A king that sitteth in the throne of judgment scattereth away all evil with his eyes” (Proverbs 20:8). Jeremiah 32:19 says our God in heaven is, “Great in counsel, and mighty in work: for thine eyes are open upon all the ways of the sons of men.” Our God fights, defends, and protects. Whatever the job assignment, task, challenge, or even attack at hand we must realize that just as God told Israel when they were facing impossible odds, “Be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God’s” (2 Chronicles 20:15). THINK ABOUT THIS: We are God’s vessels, his dwelling place, the hands, feet, mouthpiece of Jesus here on earth. And let me remind you that God has never lost a battle. Every word that God speaks comes to pass and accomplishes the purpose for which he sends it (Isaiah 55:11).  I am telling you that whatever sphere (baker, schoolteacher, ministry, homeless services, etc.,) he has placed you in God has spoken success over your life.

PUTTING ON THE FULL ARMOR:

In this world we have enemies that are not seen by the natural eye. They are the devil and demons that are under his control. We, (people, especially Christians) are his chief aim, and Satan’s mission, “To steal, and to kill, and to destroy” John 10:10a). The only real threat to Satan and destroying is kingdom is God and we have been blood bought (born again Christians). While the devil is a liar, we bring God’s truth. God truth destroys the work of the Satan. “For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds” (2 Corinthians 10:4). The devil has set up strongholds in the lives of so many people holding them as captives through a multitude of lies, philosophies, false teachings all around the world. You must understand is the ruler over all who reject and who do not yet know Jesus as their personal Savior. They walk, “According to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience 3 Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others” (Ephesians 2:2-3). Instead of serving the True and Living God as Father the Bibles says, “Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it” (John 8:44).

God’s Word warns us to, “Be sober (watchful, attentive, aware), be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour” (1 Peter 5:8). He tells us, “Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you” (James 4:7).

In Ephesians 6:10-18 God tells us, “Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. 11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. 13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. 14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; 15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: 18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints.”

If you would like to begin a personal with Jesus please follow directions below.

Repeat these words out loud as though Jesus were right in the room with you because He actually is.

The prayer:

Lord Jesus, I believe that you died on the Cross for me, a sinner, and that you rose again on the third day. Please forgive me for all of my sins. I repent, I turn away from all sin. Please come into my heart and live. I accept you as my personal Lord and Savior, and as Master of my life. Thank you so much, in Jesus’ Name, I pray, Amen!

If you sincerely prayed that prayer this means that you are now born again. It is important that you get a Bible and ask God to show you a Bible believing church in which to begin. You must begin to pray and study the Bible every day. There are some 24-hour prayer lines on this site that you can call for prayer and support. In addition, there is 24-hour Christian television. Some of these are the Trinity Broadcasting Network and Daystar Television.

RE: (The only thing we can take with us from this world is what we do for Christ. (See below)

Now when you pray you come to the Father in Jesus’s Name, and whatever you pray for you thank him in the Name of Jesus. As you begin to study his word and grow in your relationship with Christ your prayers be based on your knowledge of the Bible. In other words we begin to pray according his word (his will) and we experience victories.  You will experience the joy and the peace of God in greater measures. When you begin seek him with all of your heart, by praying, studying his work, fellowshipping with other believers, God will begin to show you his plan for your life. You will come to understand that he will reward you for the work you have done for him while on earth.

“Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him” (James 1:12 King James Version).

For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad” (2 Corinthians 5:10).
