BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU THINK AND SAY

Be careful what you think and say. You can  think or talk YOURSELF into situations in life that are both detrimental to you and harmful to those around you.  God lovingly warns us in His Word as follows:

“Death and life are in the power of the tongue,
And those who love it will eat its fruit” Proverbs 18:21 (New King James Version).

“For as he thinks in his heart, so is he [in behavior—one who manipulates]” Proverbs 23:7 (Amplified Version).

“A fool’s lips enter into contention, And his mouth calls for blows.
A fool’s mouth is his destruction, And his lips are the snare of his soul” (Proverbs 18:6-7).

James James 3:8-13 (New Living Translation) says “But no one can tame the tongue. It is restless and evil, full of deadly poison.9 Sometimes it praises our Lord and Father, and sometimes it curses those who have been made in the image of God. 10 And so blessing and cursing come pouring out of the same mouth. Surely, my brothers and sisters, this is not right! 11 Does a spring of water bubble out with both fresh water and bitter water?   12 Does a fig tree produce olives, or a grapevine produce figs? No, and you can’t draw fresh water from a salty spring.”

And so I tell you my brother, my sister, my friend, and even my enemy (I love you too!) that the only way to fix the problem (wrong thinking, wrong talking, wrong acting, addictions, etc., is to come into a relationship with God (El Elyon, The God Most High, Jesus the CREATOR of all things).
“for by him were all things created, that arein the heavens and thatare in earth, visible and invisible, whether  they are thrones or dominions or principalities or powers: all things were created by him and in him; 17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist”
(Colossians 1;16-17 Jubilee Bible 2000).

You must realize that we are all born into this world as sinners in need of a Savior whose Name is Jesus and, “Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.”

SALVATION PRAYER:
Just pray this prayer from your heart, Lord Jesus, I am a sinner in need of a Savior, I believe that you came into this world to die for my sins and you rose again on the third day, forgive me for all of my sins, I repent (turn away from all of my sins, my old way of living) and turn my whole life over to you,  come into my heart and live, I accept you as my personal Lord and Savior  and as Master of my life. Fill me with your Holy Spirit. Thank you for saving me and filling me with your Holy Spirit, in Jesus’ Name, amen.

The SALVATION PRAYER is not just something concocted by man but it comes from the very heart of God. Please see Romans 3:23, 5:23, 6:23, and 10:9; (You can also read Romans 10:9 -13.) When comparing Christianity to other religions of the world you will find that while they are based on what the followers do (performance
based, in other words earning rewards) for we who follow Jesus it is based on what He has already done. “But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8 New International Version). Thats right! Even while we were still deep in our lives of sin Jesus died for us.
While it is true that good works should accompany our confession of faith it is made clear that our SALVATION and assurance of heaven is wholly based on Jesus’ sacrifice (death) on the Cross and His resurrection from the dead. All of the other people who are credited with starting whatever religions or belief systems that people follow are dead (or soon to be dead depending on how recent their new philosophy was introduced) but Jesus rose from the dead and appeared to many people thereafter. He even ate fish to prove that He rose not just spiritually but physically as well.
