GOD GIFTED YOU

GOD GIFTED YOU

Page under construction…

I really love the Lord. He has been so good to me and my family. In fact, he has been so good to everyone. Even when we have not always deserved it God has been so good to us. The Scripture says that even while we were yet sinners Jesus died for us. He is a great God. We serve a great God. He created the heavens and the earth. He, “Owns the cattle on a thousand hills.” The earth and all who live on it belong to him. We should never become proud or arrogant. Our next breath even depends on God. If you have talent or special gifts you should know that God gave them to you. Can you sing, speak well, or are you able to play sports? God blessed you with these. Can you ride a bike, fly a kite, or swim? God gave you these abilities. Can you drive a car, run fast, or jog for miles? These also come from God. Are you good in academics, able to cook, or hospitable to others? These too have been given to you by God. Can you paint or draw, are you sought out by others to offer counsel, or can you provide medical assistance? Yes, these were given to you by God. Can you mow the lawn, run errands, do presentations, provide security (This can be in many ways, including making sure that the doors and windows have been secured for your family at night), assemble things, fix broken things, sew, plan/coordinate events, make popcorn? Well, thank God for these. Did you sleep last night, have a nice dream, or get up this morning? Can you bring joy to others by making them laugh and feel good (I don’t mean by telling coarse jokes but by positive Godly things), serve others, or give good traveling directions? Isn’t God nice to help you to be able to do these things? Yes! Can you type, are you good with computers, or are you good with various kinds of technology? God gave you these abilities. Do you know anything about gardening or farming, are you good with pets or animals, can you do acrobatics? Before He even created you God planned these things for you. Do you do special tasks for your teacher, do you help others with their homework, or can you roller skate well? You really need to thank God for His goodness. Do you obey your parents by doing what is right, are you a good role model for your peers and others, or are you a good story teller? You need to kind of ask God in amazement, “How do you do it?“ Are you a quality gentleman or lady, do you eat healthy, or are you a good parent, husband, or wife? You should give the credit to God for helping you to do these things well. Are you good at entertaining children, can you pick out good books or movies for young folks, or can you properly tell when something is not good for children so you can protect them from material that could hurt them? These are gifts from God. Can you teach, visit people who are need of company, or can you brighten up the elderly? Isn’t God good! Can you take out the garbage, clean a house, or can you make a warm fire in the fireplace? Don’t take these things for granted. It pleased God to help you to be able to do these things. How’s this? Can you wash the dishes, walk the dog, or feed the pet? Thank you Jesus! Can you lead people in song, go to the mall with your wife, or teach the children how to play sports? Hallelujah! Can you pray, read the Bible, speak words of encouragement to others? I praise you Jesus! Can you heat water to offer a warm cup of tea to someone, can you visit your neighbor in the hospital, or can you drive someone in the case of an emergency? God, you are beyond good! The list really does go on and on. You need to know that it is God who gives you these abilities. He is so good to all!

I heard a man say something like this.

Some people think it was the alarm that woke them up this morning. No, the alarm gave the signal to get up but it was God Almighty who woke you up.

Life is a gift from God and we should not take things for granted. People, time is one of our most precious gifts. Let us use it wisely. We must pray.

God has even provided for us a way to make it into heaven by sending His Son, Jesus, to die on the Cross for us.

If you have not yet given your heart to Christ please pray the following out loud. You will be speaking directly to Jesus if you truly say it from your heart.

THE PRAYER IS AS FOLLOWS:

‘Jesus, I am a sinner. I believe that you died on the cross for me and rose again on the third day. Please forgive me for my sins. I truly turn away from a life of sin and I ask you to come into my heart. I accept you as my Lord and Savior. Thank you Jesus. Amen.’

Welcome to the family of God. There is so much to learn about God. The Bible declares that the angels in heaven are rejoicing right now because you gave your heart to Jesus.  RIGHT NOW YOU SHOULD THANK GOD FOR THE FACT THAT YOU HAVE RECEIVED SALVATION BY ACCEPTING JESUS INTO YOUR HEART.

While there are quite a number great Bible believing churches to attend I recommend that you begin your walk with the Lord by calling 1-800-759-0700. You will find a prayer counselor there waiting to assist you with prayer, helpful literature, and further assistance in the steps you are to take. God bless you so much. I love you, we love, Jesus loves you, and God has such awesome plans for you.

Jesus loves you.
